Serbian artist and textile designer Arpad Pulai explores the relationship between textile art, sustainability, tradition and contemporary design. From weaving and natural materials to recycling and education, his practice considers the social and environmental possibilities of textiles. Through his work and the Čunak association, Pulai is also helping preserve traditional textile-making techniques while bringing them into conversation with contemporary art and design.
